Teenage Singer-Songwriter takes on Relationships and Mental Health in New Single!

“Hunter” Cover Art

James Jackson (previously supported by BBC Introducing) is independently releasing his new single “Hunter” on 12th June on all streaming services! The song is told from the perspective of a character debating with themselves over the end of a relationship – the “hunter” in this case being the demons and torment fighting in the mind at this time.

The track was written and produced within a 48 period during a surge of inspiration during the lockdown. Being a multi-instrumentalist, James played all the instruments on the track as well as arranging and producing it. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, he also ended up shooting the cover art himself too!

This single comes after the release of his previous single “Alone at a Party” in March and “For Once” last year. Currently, he is recording more singles which will be released this year as well as continuing his studies at LIPA Sixth Form.

“This track is reletable, passionate and emphatic”
